Surf Browser is a lightweight Chromium-based browser built on ungoogled-chromium.
It removes Google services, telemetry, and unnecessary background activity — while preserving compatibility with modern websites.
Security Notice:
Surf Browser is currently not digitally signed.
Windows SmartScreen or some antivirus software may display a warning
because the application is newly released and building reputation.
This is expected behavior for independent software.
Search Engine Information:
Presearch can be accessed by typing
presearch.com directly into the address bar.
In the current build, default search engine selection
follows the standard browser configuration.
A privacy-respecting browser for everyday use.
No accounts. No tracking. No background noise.
Recommended for all modern systems.
Built on ungoogled-chromium.
Note about startup behavior:
On first launch, you may briefly see a blank or default Chromium tab
before Surf Browser’s start page appears.
This is expected behavior of Chromium-based browsers
while extensions are loading for the first time.
About 32-bit systems:
Surf Browser is currently available for Windows 64-bit only.
Modern Chromium-based browsers no longer reliably support 32-bit Windows,
and providing a 32-bit build would result in instability and launch failures.
This decision is made to ensure stability, security, and a reliable user experience.
Surf Browser is distributed by Echo Technology.
Built on open-source foundations with transparent defaults.
While mainstream browsers become heavier every year, Surf focuses on efficiency, predictability, and a calmer browsing experience.
